Software Engineer (Laravel / Vue.js / Inertia.js)

Feedier is hiring!

Job Description

Feedier is looking for an ambitious, solid Software Engineer to rebuild Feedier Survey from the ground up and help scale the product.

Feedier Survey is a live platform with a large user base. The current product is legacy. This mission is not a patch or an in-place refactor: it is a blank-page rewrite on Laravel / Vue.js / Inertia.js, while the existing product continues to serve customers.

We are looking for someone with strong technical convictions, able to start from zero, own architecture and delivery, and ship a platform that can replace the current one without putting reliability at risk. If you like scaling web applications, solving real product constraints, and raising the technical bar, this is for you.

This is the right role if you are already a Laravel engineer and want to explore scaling a successful product — from a technical point of view and from a product / delivery point of view.

  • You understand async queues / jobs and how to use them under real load

  • You are familiar with Redis and similar caching solutions

  • You can design data models and SQL that hold up with large volumes of survey responses

  • You can work from a blank repository and rebuild a complex existing product into a clean, scalable architecture

  • You think in terms of throughput, latency and failure modes, not only features

Your missions

  • 70% Rebuild and scale Feedier Survey. Greenfield work: domain model, microservices or modular backend components, new APIs, survey builder & runtime, Vue/Inertia interfaces, caching, queues, and SQL optimisation, with the help of the engineering team. That goes along with ownership of technical decisions.

  • 30% Maintain reliability and quality. Help scope what must be preserved from the legacy product, design the cutover, write tests, and put CI/CD in place so the new platform can be shipped and operated with confidence.

At Feedier, we are committed to creating an environment in which all of our employees can feel valued, included and empowered to bring new points of view to the table. Therefore, we give an equal opportunity to everyone and all qualified candidates are encouraged to apply.

Preferred Experience

  • Laravel proven + working experience

  • Vue.js and Inertia.js experience

  • Strong UI & UX sensibility: you think about the product interface, not only the backend

  • Software engineering skills (vs. web development only)

  • Able to work autonomously from scratch on a greenfield rebuild

  • Comfortable running multiple agents simultaneously in Cursor as part of the daily workflow, you orchestrate them, you don’t let them drive the architecture

  • You like to work in a TEAM

  • You speak English at a conversational level

Recruitment Process

The whole process is between 1 and 2 weeks

  • Intro meeting (45 min)

  • Pair-coding session (~1 hr) — we build something together, live
